Spring Masonic Lodge #1174
AF&AM
Stated Meetings monthly on the third Thursday, 7pm.
Each year, Spring Lodge hosts the John Roy Salyers Memorial Golf Tournament. Set in the late summer and open to the public, it serves as the primary fund raiser for our community improvement fund. This fund provides both for our Gus Bayer College Scholarships, as well as the beautification and enhancement of Old Town Spring.

In late August, 2011, Spring Lodge lost Bro. John Roy Salyers. A member of one of Spring's founding families and a descendant of two of our past masters, John Roy was a very active member until just a few years before his passing. He was well known and loved by everyone for his wisdom, quick wit, and gentle spirit. He had just recently received his 50 year service pin and was the only member of Spring Lodge to be awarded the title of, Tiler Emeritus.
At the September Stated Meeting, a motion was brought before the members to honor the memory and service of Bro. John Roy by naming our annual golf tournament after him. The motion was unanimously approved! Henceforth, the Spring Lodge annual golf tournament is to be known as The John Roy Salyers Memorial Golf Tournemant.
